Today is Saturday and it is a fine day. This afternoon, the students of our school went to No.8 Middle School to have a get-together. At 3:00 pm, we met at the school gate and set out on time. We went there by bus. In No.8 Middle School, some of us took part in a baskerball match or a football match between the two schools. Some of us went to fly kites on the playground. In the evening, we had a big party. We sang songs, played games and ate a lot of delicious food. We went back to our school at 10:00 pm. We were very tired, but we really had a good time!

I love English,it gives me a colorful dream.I hope I can travel around the world one day. With my good English, I can make friends with many people from different contries.I can see many places of great intrests.I dream that I can go to London,because it is the birth place of English. My Good Friend

Kevin is my good friend. We are both 14 years and we are in the same class. We usually go to school together and we often help each other. I’m a little taller than Kevin, but he is stronger than me. Kevin is good at sports, he is more athletic and outgoing. I don’t like sports, but I’m interested in reading, I’m quieter. However, we both enjoy watching TV and listening to music. Though we have some differences, we get on well with each other.

McDonald’s is famous all over the world. It serves forty-six million customers(顾客) every day. A new McDonald’s opens somewhere in the world every five hours. The restaurants look the same, the menus are the same and the customers get the same service. A Mcdonald’s customer is always served in no more than ninety seconds. In 1955 a man named Ray Kroc opened his first restaurant in Illinois. He bought the name from two brother called Mcdonald. To increase sales he started advertising on TV in 1963. And a clown was friendly and helpful and gave good advice to children. By 2003, Mcdonald’s has opened restaurants in 118 countries around the world.

Today i s my birthday. I invited my four classmates to the McDonald’s restaurant. We bought many kinds of food. For example, ice-cream, potato chips, fried chicken, pies and so on. First, we cut the birthday cake and everyone enjoyed the cake when we sang birthday song happily. Then we played games and Puzzle with the workers in the restaurant. They taught us a lot about McDonald’s. Finally we gave nice gifts to each other.

It’s really a nice birthday party, we all had a wonderful time.
