Compared with cars,bikes have many advantages.First,they are not very expensive,and almost every family can afford them.Second,they are very handy and convenient though they are not so fast as cars.With a bike,you can go anywhere you like,and you don’t hav e to look for a large parking place.By riding bikes,you can avoid traffic jams and thus save the time and the money for taking taxis.Third,they do not cause air or sound pollution. Riding bikes does good to your health if you ride it regularly.In modern times,people are usually too busy to spare any time for physical exercise.Riding a bike to your work place regularly serves as a good way to keep yourself strong and healthy. Therefore,a bicycle is really an important means of transportation in China.It has been very useful,convenient and necessary ever since it was invented.And I do believe it will still be so in the future.

The Public Transport in Shanghai In Shanghai, there're mainly four means of transportation,the underground, taxis, buses and electric bikes. The underground is much faster than taxis and buses. Buses are the cheapest but the slowest of the four. Taxis run more quickly than buses, but they are more expensive. Now, more and more people choose to use electric bikes. We are well aware of the role of modern transportation in our lives. Not too long ago, people endured great hardship in order to make a long journey. Moving heavy goods from one town to another involved hard labor. Today, we enjoy the convenience of various kinds of vehicles including ships, planes, trains, and automobiles, which allow us to go wherever we choose and make our workload much lighter. But modern transportation, along with convenience has brought some problems. With more drivers on the road, there has been an increase in traffic jams and accidents. The exhaust from automobiles has added to our air pollution, not to mention additional noise caused by trucks and cars on the road. Like everything else, modern transportation has more than one face. Here in China, we look to our government experts to solve these problems. Scientists are working on developing modern fuel that produces less pollutlon. However, we can all help reduce air pollution from automobiles by only driving when it is necessary and using public transportation when available.

I think you can choose different ways to travel according to the condition.Fist,if you want to make your trip comfortable and fast,takingairplne is the best way.Especially,for your long trip.Second,It's good and cheap for you to take trains as you plane to the countries near your city .Thirdly,It's good idea to drive car to travel when you want to go to the places near your city. Nowadays,with the rapid development of IT and information industry, cell phones play a dominant role in towns people's life. But, like everything else, they have both favorable and mffavorahle aspects. First, it's useful. As a wireless mobile telephone, it's easy and handy to early to wherever one goes and call the callee however far away he is. Therefore, it greatly facilitates people's life. Second, it's convenient. Whenever one meets trouble or something urgent, one cannmke a call immediately. Most important of all, it's a very helpful companion. With a multirfunction cell phone in hand, one can easily get on the Net, browsing the useful information, conducting e-commerce and doing whatever one can do via Internet. However, just as everything has two sides, the cell phone also has many disadvantages. To begin with, it's expensive to buy and costly to pay the hills, esp. that of global service. To make matters worse, it's also easy to lose and costly to get it repaired. Worst of all,it's not as clear as a family telephone and sometimes the number dialed is often not available. Last but not least, it's alleged the microwaves in it might do harm to people's health. In my opinion,with its expenses greatly reduced after China's entry into the WTO, it will face an ever brighter future in its development. Someday most of them will be developed into new Intemet-enabled mobile phones, which will be as useful as pocket computers. And I believe its advantages will not only offset its disadvantages, but also far outweigh them.

Describe the most common and characteristic vehicle in your country

The most popular/distinctive transport means we have in London are the big red buses that the city is famous for. Many people think that they are perfect for those days that you do not want to drive your own car. Also, for one entire bus journey, the price does not change, unlike the subway. The buses also have special seating for people with special needs so the London buses cater to almost everyone’s needs.

However, others think that they are not good. People may say that the buses are loud and noisy. In the summer, the buses can be very hot and very slow. They make tend to make people very late to their destinations. They are also the cause of many accidents on the road because they are so big! Some buses still have not been made safe for the environment and they pollute the air.

I love the London buses because they can take me all over the city for a cheaper price than any other means of transport. Although it’s it’s expensive compared to china buses, the buses are consistent. They come regularly and I can always sit down and relax.
